WE MOVED!!!
This is the home we have lived in the last two and a half years. We loved it's old character, our friends near by, our ward, and how close it was to the Dental School but sadly enough, on Jan. 14th 2008 we decided to move and Jan. 16th (my b-day) we headed out. It all started on a monday morning at about 12:30. Brandon and I woke up to a loud banging and scratching noise in our kitchen. It scared the heck out of me! Brandon went in there at least 5 or 6 times and the noise would stop and he couldn't find anything. Finally he was able to sneak up on the noise. It continued and he spotted a big black RAT running across the floor. I'm not talking about a little mouse. He said it was the size of his forearm but with leggs on it.(Brandon doesn't have a small arm either). That freaky RAT had been scratching on our pantry cupboard. There were paint chips on the ground where he was scrarching and biting. we knew there had been some in our basement and our landlords were trying to get rid of them but I never thought they would be able to get into our portion of the house on the second and third floors. The exterminater said there was evidence it had been in every room on the second floor. That did, it we had to get out of there... So here we are...
This is our new home. We love it because for starters, it has NO RATS - a big plus! :-) We also get it all to ourselves. It is a single family home! Our new ward seems to be great. Shealee loves the nursery. We thought she might have a hard time going in but I think she really likes it because there is a lot of room to run around. We're only a 5 min drive away from the school and Brandon rides with Jason every day so that worked out good. Just down that street within walking distance is a library that Shealee really enjoys going to. We just went there today and Shealee went up to a fish tank and was introducing herself to the fish. She said, "Hi fishies my name is Shealee" then she went up to a girl about her age and introduced herself and told me she was her friend. She's not usually very shy as you can tell. I love my Shea Shea she always says the cutest things!
