Camping, AGAIN!
Our family really enjoys camping so we went twice during Brandon's break. This time we went with the Whites. Despite the occasional rain we had a great time. Brandon and Bryce made a HUGE! fire. I have to admit, it did scare me until it died down a little bit. Allthough Shealee screamed in fear everytime she saw a bug or anything that resembeled a bug she had fun. I'm not quite sure why she gets so scared. I guess she's just a girly girl. Nothings wrong with that! RIGHT!?!

Amish Country Get-away

Brandon suprised me with a overnight trip to Amish country for mother's day. Since we live about an hour and a half from there we've managed to make it out to Amish country quite a bit. We love it there! The only thing is, when we go we always feel rushed. We usually go for a day and see the same things every time. It was so nice because our friends, the Whites watch Shealee and Paige. Don't get me wrong, I did miss my girls but it was so fun to drive around and hang out with just the two of us. We took off Monday morning and came back Tuesday evening so it was nice and relaxing. Brandon got this cute little cabin that overlooked a canyon. It was so beautiful(as you can tell in the pictures)!!! Thanks Bran! It was a fun and very memorable experience! Love ya:-)

Say Chuck e Cheese!
Brandon has been on part one of his Summer break and we are loving it! Today we went with the Whites to the Park for a picnic and then off to Chuck e Cheese for some more entertainment. Shealee loves playing with her friend Kyla. They had such a great time. Actually we all did! (As you can tell by the sketches we got taken). Just a little story from earlier today:
While Brandon went in the grocery store to get stuff for the picnic and it was just the girls and me in the car. I was having such great conversation with Shealee. She was so cute when she said, "Mommy, do you remember when you were married in the Temple?" I said yep! and before I could say anything else, she said, "When I grow up I am going to be married in the Temple just like you!" Then she said, "Kyla goes to school, so when I grow up, I am going to go to school!" (apparently Kyla is all grown up at age 3) I'm not quite sure what she considers "grown up" but I hope she is a lot older than 3 when she decides she has found her husband and wants to get married. I love my Shea Shea!
A step back in Time (Submarine U.S.S. COD)
This tour was lots and fun and very interesting. This old submarine that was used during the time of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. (Just a FYI- The COD and her sister subs sank a total of more than 5.3 million tons of Japanese shipping- at least 1,178 merchant ships and 214 warships.)It was neat to explore and hear the stories of the Submarine and the men on the ship. It made me be even more appreciative to those who serve now and have served in the military. After we toured the Sub we stopped by a few misc. places downtown before we headed to The Saffron Patch. It was actually a nice day so we enjoyed walking around.
The Saffron Patch
We have really grown to love Indian food. The Saffron Patch is one of our favorites. We only go there when we have an excuse or "Special occasion". So thanks Leeanne and Lindy for making it a special occasion! It was fun! Dang, I should have taken a picture of the food. It was so yummy!
