Daffodil Hill

We're going to miss seeing daffodil hill every Spring. I have to say that since living in Cleveland, Spring is definatly my favorite season. I just love seeing the leaves fill the trees and all the millions of daffodils and Tulips everywhere. (especially after a LONG freezing winter) Shealee and Paige did pretty well while they got their pictures taken. I know they aren't suppose to pick the flowers but Shealee and Kyla got a little carried away with picking them. We thought that since the harm was already done we might as well take some cute pictures with them. Also right when we were getting ready to wrap it up Paige wandered off and I found her sitting in a bunch of mud. That's right, all over her new dress. I would have taken pictures of it but I was too worried about getting her cleaned up and that the dress was ruined. Luckily it all washed out! Here's some pictures of her in her after I took off the dress.

Squires Castle

Paige and her boyfriend, Rex

Last Saturday since all our husbands were taking Boards the girls and kids all went to Squires Castle. Shealee and Paige loved running around. It was kind of warm for a Cleveland spring day. I think it got up to like 87 degrees. I can't complain though, I thought it was beautiful weather. I'd take the heat over the freezing cold any day. Plus I guess I better get use to it again since I'll be moving back to AZ in the dead of the summer.

Psi Onara at Night Town

Every Year there is a send off dinner for the Senior Psi Omega members. I just can't believe it was already that time for Brandon to be that Senior. Brandon recieved his Psi O "diploma" and he also recieved and award. I think it had something to do with him being the president of Psi O last year. I'm proud of Brandon. He has accomplished so much! Also Brandon along with Bryce and Jonathan put in some long hours making the Psi O Senior video. Let's just say it's DONE and we're so GLAD! They did a great job!

Easter!

Shealee and Paige woke up just in time to look at their Easter baskets, have one little piece of candy and then get ready for church. After they were ready they got to see what the Easter Bunny left them. Grandma and Aunt Valene left them a little suprise as well. Shealee got Ballerina princess Barbie and Paige got a Pony. Except for the kids jumping off the walls in Primary, church was great. Shealee has been asking me all sorts of questions about death and ressurection. I can't believe she can say ressurection so well. I've been trying to explain things at her level but at times it can be hard. I was glad to see that this week that is what sharing time was all about in Primary.

Grandma Kight and Aunt Valene visit

My grandma Kight and her sister (my) Aunt Valene came out to visit last week. Of course we took them to all the church history and Amish country. They were also here for Easter so we had a great Easter dinner together. Grandma made her stuffing that we all enjoyed so much. We were sad to see them leave but it helps that we'll live a lot closer to them in another month!

Boston Aquarium and Build a bear

Shealee and Paige absolutly LOVED the aquarium. They saw lots of neat animals. There was a huge fish tank 2 stories high that had all kinds of ocean animals in it. It was neat to see the huge turtles and sharks. Shealee and Paige could have stood and watched the penguins all day.
The last thing we did before leaving Boston was we went to the Build a Bear workshop. We wanted to get a stuffed animal to remember our trip. Since it was St. Patricks day we picked out the green frog with a clover on it's cheek. I know the frog would have looked way cuter dressed as a boy but since we have girls it was turned into a girl frog that was wearing a Boston cheerleader outfit. We recorded Shealee saying "Boston 2009. Happy St. Patricks Day!" and put it in the frog.

Boston (Freedom Trail walk)

Boston was awesome! We walked the Freedom Trail and were able to see so much. Shealee was such a sport. We only brought our umberella stroller so we wouldn't have troubles getting it on and off the train. Shealee walked the full 2 1/2 miles of the freedom trail with an occasional shoulder ride.
