Kirtland and The John Johnson Farm

We were lucky enough to see Elder Ballard when we were in Kirtland. He was there for a mission President training.

Everyone in front of the John Johnson Home with Elder Ballard (except Brittani and Paige since Paige was eating in the car- I know… Bummer , huh!) The story behind this picture is: Everyone went to get a picture in front of the home and Elder Ballard just happen to walk up. He said he had a little extra time so he talked with them, and as you can see, got a picture taken with them. It was neat because we saw him in Kirtland and then as we pull into our parking spot at the John Johnson Farm, we looked over and there he was sitting in the car next to us. FYI this is the exact door Joseph Smith was drug out of in the night and then was Tarred and feathered. Also the steps they were standing on are the exact steps Joseph Smith preached from the very next morning.
